Our latest survey results show changes in the roles that organizations are filling to support their AI ambitions. In the past year, organizations using AI most often hired data engineers, machine learning engineers, and Al data scientists—all roles that respondents commonly reported hiring in the previous survey. But a much smaller share of respondents report hiring AI-related-software engineers—the most-hired role last year—than in the previous survey (28 percent in the latest survey, down from 39 percent). Roles in prompt engineering have recently emerged, as the need for that skill set rises alongside gen AI adoption, with 7 percent of respondents whose organizations have adopted AI reporting those hires in the past year. These organizations that achieve significant value from AI are already using gen AI in more business functions than other organizations do, especially in product and service development and risk and supply chain management.

Community Volunteer Opportunities
But the problem is, finding the right community and environment for your recovery is easier said than done. You’re paying for a program that’s supposed to help you, but you’re feeling alone. Redemption House Foundation has helped save the lives of 486 individuals.
We are dedicated to helping individuals in early recovery rebuild their lives. When you start the journey with New Beginning, and have structure, accountability and community to support you, you’ll be on the path to your recovery. Redemption House Foundation is mainly staffed by sober and drug-free volunteers, many who are living in our New Beginning sober houses. Upon acceptance you become the guest of our recovery houses, you will be meeting your house manager, and he will guide and help you accomplish move in process, show you around the house, what needs to be done around your room and the house etc. On March 1, 2022, President Biden announced his administration’s strategy to address our nation’s mental health crisis as outlined in the 2022 Presidential Unity Agenda. To meet this goal, SAMHSA collaborated with federal, state, tribal, territorial, and local partners including peer specialists to develop the National Model Standards for Peer Support Certification. Our program of recovery also values peer support, which has brought great success in changing many lives. When you move into one of our houses, you’re not just moving into a sober house, you’re moving into a recovery community.
SAMHSA’s mission is to lead public health and service delivery efforts that promote mental health, prevent substance misuse, and provide treatments and supports to foster recovery while ensuring equitable access and better outcomes. SAMHSA’s working definition of recovery defines recovery as a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential. Recovery signals a dramatic shift in the expectation for positive outcomes for individuals who experience mental and substance use conditions or the co-occurring of the two. AI high performers are expected to conduct much higher levels of reskilling than other companies are.

The Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) is initiating a licensure program for drug and alcohol recovery houses that receive funding or referrals from public sources. DDAP’s Final-Omitted Regulations on Standards for Drug and Alcohol Recovery House Licensure are available in the PA Code & Bulletin and DDAP is accepting applications for recovery houses seeking licensure. Our goal is to be a resource for the community, hospitals, treatment centers, recovery houses, and most importantly the addict/alcoholic who is struggling and needs a place to go until the services they need are available.
Nearly four in ten respondents reporting AI adoption expect more than 20 percent of their companies’ workforces will be reskilled, whereas 8 percent of respondents say the size of their workforces will decrease by more than 20 percent. Organizations continue to see returns in the business areas in which they are using AI, andthey plan to increase investment in the years ahead. We see a majority of respondents reporting AI-related revenue increases within each business function using AI. And looking ahead, more than two-thirds expect their organizations to increase their AI investment over the next three years. The findings offer further evidence that even high performers haven’t mastered best practices regarding AI adoption, such as machine-learning-operations (MLOps) approaches, though they are much more likely than others to do so.
